The Sports Authority of India (SAI) has released a recruitment notification for 2025, inviting applications for the positions of Head Coach and Strength & Conditioning Expert – Lead. Age Limit for SAI Recruitment 2025

Candidates applying for the Strength & Conditioning Expert – Lead post should not exceed 45 years as of the application closing date.

Qualification and Experience for SAI Recruitment 2025

For Head Coach

Candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:

1. Diploma in Coaching from SAI/NS NIS or any recognized Indian/Foreign University.
2. Represented India in the Olympics/World Cup/World Championship.
3. A certificate course from the concerned National/International Federation is required.
4. Basic computer knowledge is essential.
5. Minimum 10 years of coaching experience is required.

OR

• Experience in coaching at Senior/Junior Indian teams,
• Dronacharya/Arjuna/Dhyan Chand Awardees, or
• Coaches who have trained international medalists.

OR

• Employees from Central/State Government/PSUs may apply on deputation following DoPT rules.

Desirable Qualifications:
Experience in high-performance coaching for international athletes.
Knowledge of sports science, technology, and coaching trends.
Teaching skills to mentor coaches and support staff.
Leadership ability to build a winning sports culture.

For Strength & Conditioning Expert – Lead

Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Sports & Exercise Science/Sports Science/Sports Coaching.
• Any Graduation with one of the following:
• ASCA Level-1 or above,
• CSCS/UK SCA accredited coach,
• Diploma in Fitness Training,
• Certificate course in Fitness Training from a Government Institution.

Salary for SAI Recruitment 2025

Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary in the range of ₹1,00,000 to ₹1,50,000.
